Game looks beautiful. I can’t wait for it. Although, the new Elder Scrolls is my most wanted game. Unless Skies of Arcadia 2 get announced sometime soon.. I could only hope.

You mean wolvenstein the first fully 3D first person shooter that revolutionised a genre?
Or Doom a game that took the premise and improved upon it seven fold?
Or Quake, the game that defined what multiplayer first person shooters could be for half a decade?

Those games were innovative and showed what could be done with the medium. This, not so much.Just because I said the vid left me cold doesn’t mean I think it’ll suck. I actually said it would be good.

@DragonNexus first they added there own flare to fallout 3 the enemies accually jump around theres better weapons and thats just a few things so id say its a lot better than fallout 3 and halo

@DragonNexus i think that game that takes the fun things from other games will make an amazing game. the only thing that was said about the story was a meteor crashed into earth making it a wasteland. i can see how that would be like fallout but that doesn’t mean that the story will completely be like fallout. and the just because driving parts have been used before doesn’t mean its gonna suck. just because a game isn’t completely original doesn’t mean its not going to be an awesome game.

Granted, hard to judge without playing it yourself.
Problem is, watching someone play the game as opposed to, say, a pre-made trailer, often gives you a suitable taste of what the finished product would be like with a few rare exceptions.

And so far this looks to be something that uses a lot of good ideas thought up by other developers mashed together into something that’ll be good but unremarkable. You’ll enjoy it but it;ll leave no lasting impression on you.

Is it just me of have they stolen the entire Fallout premise, except for using a meteor instead of nukes?
And oh boy, vehicle sections. Whoopie. That’s really turning it up a notch. Haven’t seen that before, except fr perhaps nearly every FPS since Halo.

Isn’t the whole “post apocalypse” thing a little…done now?

Oh, and there’s the electric water trick from Bioshock.

Graphically it’s impressive but…gameplay wise I’m not seeing anything special.
